One more day

I'll admit, it was a bit hard to concentrate on work today. With less than a day to go before our departure, my mind is mostly on last minute preparations. I have a list a mile long of things that still need to be done, but this time tomorrow I'll be on a plane headed for France.

Several people have asked for a quick overview of the trip, so here you go:
  • July 15th - Travel all day. We're flying from SLC to Houston to Paris to Geneva (ouch).
  • July 16th - Arrival - We've rented a 9 passenger Mercedes turbo diesel van just to be 100% sure that we'll be able to fit our bikes, luggage, and equipment. That day we'll also be riding the Col du Romme and the Col de la Colombiére. After the ride we'll head for our apartment. We've rented a place just outside of Valloire that will serve as our base station for the next several days.
  • July 17th - We'll ride Col de l'Iseran in the morning and then watch stage 13 of the Tour in the afternoon.
  • July 18th - Telegraphe and Galibier
... ok, I'll have to finish this post later. I've got a very long day tomorrow, and I need to get some sleep.
